Nestled at Via Marina, 8, this seaside gem is a sanctuary for seafood lovers and those seeking a memorable dining experience immersed in local charm.

The menu showcases a refined selection of regional specialties. Signature dishes like Spaghetti Alla Strombolana and Pasta with Sea Urchin capture the essence of the island’s fresh marine bounty, while options such as Tartare Di Gambero Rosso and Calamaro highlight the chef’s talent for balancing delicate flavors. For main courses, the swordfish and Tagliata Di Tonno stand out for their robust taste and quality. On the sweeter side, desserts like the velvety Panna Cotta, creamy Pistachio Semifredo, and a creative trio of chocolate, ricotta, and watermelon deliver a delightful end to the meal.

Visitors consistently praise the restaurant’s atmosphere, which combines the rustic beauty of a traditional Italian setting with the sophistication of fine dining. The space embraces natural light and sea breezes, creating an inviting yet elegant environment perfect for both special occasions and relaxed lunches. Service is polished and attentive, with staff well-versed in local wines, thanks to the sommelier owner who curates a thoughtful wine list featuring excellent selections from the Eolian Islands.

Ristorante Punta Lena caters to discerning diners who appreciate authentic flavors paired with quality ingredients and a stunning backdrop. Its location, right on the waterfront of Stromboli, ensures that every meal is accompanied by magnificent views of the sea and the sunset, elevating the overall experience. While the restaurant fills quickly—especially in the evening—early arrivals can enjoy a leisurely meal before the bustle begins.

Whether you’re ending a day sailing around the Aeolian archipelago or exploring Stromboli’s volcanic landscapes, Punta Lena is a must-visit. It balances freshness, tradition, and hospitality with an ambiance that feels both intimate and luxurious, making it perhaps the finest dining destination on the island.

Amazing views in this restaurant, and the food is excellent. Prices are not too high either. We went by for lunch early (12:30) and were able to sit without a reservation, but the restaurant quickly filled up. For dinner there were no tables available without reservation. The ricotta dessert was insane.

4.5/5. Overall a nice fine dining experience with some highlights and some underwhelming dishes. The location and views are exceptional. The service is fine dining and very attentive staff. Our favourite dish was the seafood risotto which is definitely a 5 star dish. The rest of the dishes are fresh but not amazing in terms of flavour and texture. Wine suggested by the staff were local and very good. Higher price point reflects the view, ambiance and service.

I’m here at Punta Lena once again, and it’s every bit as wonderful as I remember. Authentic in every way, with flavours that truly capture the spirit of Stromboli, it is without doubt the finest place on the island. The food is exceptional, the atmosphere is full of charm, and the warm hospitality makes you feel like part of the family. A true gem I’ll always come back to.

Good seafood (but not memorable) accompanied by fragrant white Eolian Islands wine. Very pleasant atmosphere supported by polite waiters. It's a nice place to end a day sailing to Stromboli island.

Probably the best restaurant on the island. The building is beautiful and it’s location right at the sea gives you a great view of the sea and Strombolicio. I had pasta with sea wolf and an amazing Panna Cotta as desert. The owner is a certified sommelier, so make sure you try some of the wine.
